This quote from Blessed Anne Catherine Emmerich's private revelations basically supports my interpretation of The White Horse and Rider of Revelation (First Seal).

Always love your Monarch stuff. Forgive me for being a bit lazy, but did you mention the mounted angel in Maccabees already? Even the word "Maccabee" recalls both the name and battle cry of the Prince of Archangels: "Mi chamocha ba'elim YHWH" and "Makkaba" or "hammer" like a certain Charles "The Hammer" Martel.

ReplyDeleteGot ya! Well, here's something you might not have heard before. In Donglu China, during the Boxer rebellion in 1900, Our Lady appeared in a white robe. The invading soldiers, some 10,000 strong began firing at her to no effect when a mounted angel, whom the villagers say was St. Michael drove them completely out of the village. It was later found out that one of their priests, Fr. Wu had been praying for days asking for Our Lady's intercession.
ReplyDeleteFast forward to 1995, a few years after a shrine was built to commemorate the miracle, there was a massive gathering of about 30,000 Catholic pilgrims at the site. There they witnessed the Sun move east to west and back again emitting multi-colored rays and a vision of Our Lady herself with the Child Jesus on her lap.
